Raspberry Pi 2 vs Raspberry Pi 3 – PSP Emulation

Raspberry Pi 2 vs Raspberry Pi 3 – PSP Emulation Side by Side Comparison.

Hey Guys, So far when testing the Raspberry Pi 3 I have not been overly impressed by the increases in performance with emulation, the improvements are there but they are not as pronounced as I would like.

Most of the emulators currently do not take full advantage of what the new processor offers, but that is not the case with PPSSPP. This is a modern emulator which does see improvements with a new architecture CPU and increased clock speed. How much of an improvement? Check out the video to find out.

I am using Retropie 3.6 and PPSSPP to test Burnout on the Pi1 and Pi2. All settings are identical on the emulator (I used the same configuration file on both) and both Pi’s are overclocked.
